Weddings & Funerals

Weddings and funerals provide opportunities to come together in community with compassion and hope, to celebrate the strength and beauty of love, and to support and care for one another. Church membership is not required to hold your wedding or funeral at the church.

The church offers two beautiful and sacred venues for these special occasions.

Historic Sanctuary

The sanctuary’s stained-glass windows, grand piano, and pipe organ are a beautiful backdrop for these sacred life events. The sanctuary seats up to 400 people, provides air conditioning, and is handicapped accessible. The space also has an assisted hearing system and the capacity for livestreaming.

Spiritual Arts Center

Located on the top floor, our Spiritual Arts Center is an intimate and sacred space that seats approximately 100 people. A keyboard and wifi are available. The Center is also air conditioned, handicapped accessible, with movable chairs, and the ability to display visual arts. This space includes a catering kitchen and tables for your wedding reception or funeral luncheon. 

It is never too early to consider your hopes and desires for the end of your life and to share these wishes with those you love and trust. The pastor is available to speak with you about your wishes, as well as provide resources for important conversations with your loved ones.

Frequently Asked Wedding Questions

  • Inspired by the radical hospitality of Jesus Christ and as an Open and Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ, our church celebrates marriage equality and honors the diversity of individuals and relationships.
  • Our pastor will officiate wedding services and is open to discussing involving clergy and spiritual leaders from other faith communities.
  • There are professional musicians and soloists available to add musical elements to your wedding or funeral service.
  • We can support technology needs, including the use of screens, livestream, and recording.
  • The church does not provide videographers, photographers, or flowers.
  • Candelabras available  (you provide candles)
