Books, Websites, and more

We are a church that loves to read and engage our faith!

Books can be a convenient way to deepen your connection with God.  This is a list of recent books recommended within our church:

Luis Alberto Urrea:  The Devils Highway

Chuck Wills:  Destination America

Molly Phinney Baskette:  Standing Naked Before God/The Art of Public Confession

Mary Pipher:  The Middle of Everywhere

Eugene Peterson:  Eat This Book

David Lose:  Making Sense of Scripture

Rob Bell:  Love Wins

Shane Hipps: Selling Water by the River

Richard Rohr:  Falling Upward

Mary Hunt Justice & Peace Church Library:

In addition to the above titles, you are invited to visit the church’s library.  The library is located in the church office between the Christian Education office and the Pastor’s office. In the library you will find all volumes of The New Interpreter’s Bible, books on spiritual growth, and many wonderful religious novels.  There is a notice posted in the library explaining procedures for checking books out and returning them.

While books continue to be a great resource, we live in a digital age.  Here are some great websites to visit:
