Are you interested in joining our congregation? If so, here’s a little more about us:
As a congregation of the United Church of Christ we share three distinct values central to the life and mission of the church:
- God’s continuing testament – we value the ancient scriptures in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. We also believe that God is still speaking. God continues to reveal God’s self in a myriad of ways to humanity.
- Extending extravagant welcome – we strive to live our catch phrase, “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
- Changing lives – we encourage the spiritual growth of our members and the transformation of our world.
The Mission Statement of the United Church of Christ is, “United in Spirit and inspired by God’s grace, we welcome all, love all, and seek justice for all.” In a time of increased polarization, we’re bringing people together. We believe it’s as important to “be the church” as it is to “go to church.” Our time together informs us and empowers us to live our faith in the world.
If you want to be part of a movement of love and justice, we’d love to meet you. We encourage you to join us at worship in person or online. If you have questions and would like to speak to the pastor, you can email him here. Let us know of your interest and we can discuss the next steps.
